Hello! I’m Amanda, the owner and cake decorator of Amanda’s Bakery. Baking has been my passion throughout my entire life. It all started when I would help my Dad create specialty themed cakes for my birthdays when I was younger. It was a fun way for us to spend time together and it allowed me to showcase my creativity. I loved baking so much that I decided to pursue it as a career. My family’s values of passion, hard work, determination, (and our love of food), continue to inspire me every day.
Cake decorating speaks to me because it involves a lot of precise math and science, as well as an understanding of art and design. A cake can tell a story through its flavor, shape, and decorations. Delicate flowers, intricate piping, sculpted creatures, and colorful cakes are some of my favorite pieces to make. I love creating new and unique cakes and desserts for everyone to enjoy!
